Pago de Tharsys, Medusa 2021

Based on a 12-hectare estate some 70 miles inland from Valencia on Spain's eastern coast, the vinetards of Pago de Tharys are perfectly placed to produce excellent hot climate, silky red wines. Medusa 2021 is made from 100% Bobal; broodingly dark violet in the glass, it opens with inviting notes of dark chocolate and dried blackberries. The palate is equal parts juicy and fruity, with notes of plums & figs coupled with a bright acidity, meaning it will stand up well to grilled meats and rich sauces.
